9 thoughts on “Florida Cleantech Job Fair and Symposium – Feb 2012

    • The Florida Cleantech Job Fair and Symposium will be taking place at the State Capitol in Tallahassee Florida. Because every 10 years, the legislature has to redraw district lines for legislative and congressional districts due to the most recent census, the legislative session will begin in January instead of March. Political races and seats that candidates seek in 2012 will be based on the outcome of the redistricting processs. That is why it is important for the districts to be drawn as early as possible. Candidates or would be candidates need time to prepare based on the geographics of the district they will be running in. Therefore, the cleantech event at the Capitol will be taking place at a great time. It will be taking place while legislators, there staff, the governors office and other members iof the executive branch is in Tallahassee. Particiants will get to have a display table in the courtyard area of the State Capitol which is a large area outside between the Old Capitol and New Capitol. It is a lovely and well traveled area especially during the legislative session. Anyone who enters the capitol will have to notice the cleantech businesses stationed there.
On Feb 7th, 2012 there will be a recption. During the hours of 12:30-2:30 on Feb 8th, there will be a small symposium to be held near the Capitol. At the symposium, representatives from the US Department of Agriculture and other experts will give an overview of economic development opportunities in cleantech and renewable energy industry in Florida. There will also be an overview on the status of Florida green jobs and the opportunities for more cleantech jobs. Additionally, the symposium will have an overview of onging R&D and Venture capital (VC) activity in Florida for cleantech startups along with a talk on progress being made at devloping cleantech business clusters in Florida.

  1. hello!,I like your writing so much! proportion we communicate extra approximately your article on AOL? I need an expert on this area to solve my problem. Maybe that is you! Having a look forward to see you.

  2. of course like your web site but you need to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to tell the reality on the other hand I’ll certainly come again again.
