I am looking at building a totally green, off the grid, sustainable house for myself in a small privately owned area in the Apalachicola National Forest. I will be looking at different uses of green building materials, solar energy and heating, wind power and environmentally friendly leaving no or little carbon trace. My area has not begun to use the tools available to them for a cleaner Florida. My goal is to build a small sustainable house which will also serve as a learning tool, by lectures, tours, and workshops in green technology. I thank any companies, businesses, and individuals who will help me with this project. Funds in grants and other sources will be applied strictly to this project.
